So .... Why did I decide to add Independent Educational   Consultant to  my list of careers? 

BECAUSE....

My mission in life has always been to help my kids and my students ACHIEVE their best future possible.  Believing in yourself and having someone there to push you and motivate you is the key to success.  I have always been the one who wants to motivate that one kid to do just a little more.  Why?  Because I ACHIEVED my dream of becoming a teacher, and I want every student to ACHIEVE their dreams too.

Having worked through the process of college planning with my own children and students, I realized they need a lot of guidance to wade through the maze of choosing the best school, filling out applications, financial aid, and scholarships. Not to mention the process of making sure you are choosing the right classes and activities in high school.  Our school systems today just do not have the resources available to help each student the way they need.  

High school and college planning can get very stressful.  My goal is to take this stressful time and turn it into an amazing, fun adventure. I'll be the nagging, the prodding, the deadline enforcing motivator.  You can be the supportive loving parents.
