1. Strategy session 

​Now is the time to sit down, talk, and determine what you need.  This is a no obligation meeting to learn more about each other and see if working together will be a good fit.  If you decide to continue we will discuss how to get started strategizing for your college career.


2. Who are you? 

You are unique and special, but we can help you stand out more.  We will work together to find your Wow factor.  We will help you grow your unique talents in extracurricular activities and encourage you to explore new interests that will make you stand out on that college resume.


3. Personality Plus 

 Just like you, colleges have personality too.  Using a personality inventory, we will work with you to figure out what makes you, you!  By doing this we can find the perfect campus environment that will be the best match for you.


4. College Finder 

​There are literally thousands of colleges to choose from, making it seem impossible to choose.  We can help you start to narrow down your options.  Based on what we discover about your needs and interests, we can suggest 20-25 possible schools for you to review.  Using your own personal login to collegeplannerpro, you will be able to do your own search  and add to that list.  

 

5. Write it / Revise it 

College essays are challenging and many times intimidating.  We will break it down and assist you in brainstorming and crafting a truly unique essay that will showcase your best self.  


6. The right fit 

Once you have a list of 20-25 colleges we will guide you in narrowing that down to just a few.  We will offer guidance, support, and advice on your path to ultimately finding the right choice for you.  


7. Apply for it

Now’s the time to apply.  We can help keep you on time with your application timelines and guide you through the process. Let’s get applying!


8. Accept it 

Your applications are in and you are starting to receive acceptance letters.  Now what?  Together with your family we can look at the financials for each school, the pros and cons and make an informed decision that best fits you.   Once you have chosen your school, we will tackle the task of charting your academic path for your first year of college.  Hard work pays off, time to celebrate!


9. Pay for it 

Paying for college is a parent’s worry.  We can guide you to scholarships and help with the Financial aid application process.  We will work with you and your parents to help you reach the college that will fit financially as well as academically.


10. Vent it 

​What?  Vent it?  Yes!  When you’re stressed out, need advice, motivated, pushed…. We can do that too and save the stress on your family.  Let us deal with it.  By working with ACHIEVE with Jodi, you will be relieving that stress from your family, making everyone happier!
